The annual survey on winter losses of honey bee colonies is one of the major outcomes of the cost-funded first years of COLOSS. We have established a network of more than 20 countries using the same methods to measure winter losses and estimate risk factors. Perpetuation and extension of monitoring to other countries as well as the visibility of our research are the main topics of this workshop.
