 ANSES is issuing a call for applications from scientific experts in order to set up a working group (WG) on \"coexposure of honeybees to stress factors\" (Anses self-mandate of 13/7/2012).
A number of studies have been carried out in recent years seeking to describe the mechanisms underlying what is currently referred to as “weakening, collapse and mortality in honeybee colonies”. The multifactoral aetiology of these disorders was highlighted in Afssa’s report 2009, which concluded on the need for more research on chronic exposure of bees to pesticides whilst presenting latent infectious disorders, and in-depth assessment of both the individual and combined effects of exposure to infectious agents and phytopharmaceutical products.
Anses has thus decided to establish an experts working group (WG) on coexposure of honeybees to stress factors and is seeking for scientists with expertise in areas or disciplines listed below, interested in participating in the working group.For further information please see the link below.
